President and Publisher, Newsco, Inc, Washington, DC: President of  holding company for Journal Newspapers, Inc.; Suburban Washington Newspapers, Inc; Suburban Richard Newspapers, Inc. Reorganized corporate structure and debt and sold off Suburban Richmond papers to Media General and Journal Newspapers to Clarity Media Group by creating the concept for The Washington Examiner. Launched the Examiner after the sale. Also launched parenting pub and community weekly while running Newsco, Inc.

Publisher, Metro, Philadelphia: Took over America's first major market free daily after a disappointing launch. Led company to hit profitability in 20 month's while settling three major lawsuits and a union action.

Publisher, Philadelphia Weekly: Headed Philadelphia's largest weekly and its' strategy and efforts to acquire Atlantic City's Weekly. This led to accelerated top line and bottom line growth at both products.

Associate Publisher, New York Press, Manhattan, NY where he led the organization to its highest ever level of sales in 1998.

Founder and publisher of The Weekender, Northeastern Pennsylvania's most widely read newspaper.  Created this "entertainment weekly" into a strong earnings contributor at The Times Leader, the regions traditional paid daily. Publication reached profitability in its 8th month of operation.
